Maria Valentin holds a dual degree in French and Spanish law from the University of Panthéon-Assas Paris II and the Autonomous University of Barcelona, with a specialization in international law. During her studies, she gained experience in transnational business litigation in Paris and Barcelona.

Maria Valentin began working with Libra Avocats as an intern in July 2017 and became an associate in 2019. She has developed a keen understanding of general litigation and of family and inheritance law.

She regularly works on complex international cases, particularly when different proceedings are in progress before separate courts and need a comprehensive strategy. She currently has expertise international family law, where she particularly works on international divorces (amicable and contentious), as well as in proceedings relating to child custody.

In addition to litigation in court, she assists clients in ad hoc and institutional arbitration proceedings, in both domestic and international arbitration.
